That photo is the kind of thing I’ve been recieving in my email lately, but man don’t you believe it. Yes, inventory is rising week-over-week and active listings are up across the board: +84 statewide, +16 Seacoast, +5 Tri-City, +5 Portsmouth/Newington. And yeah, more homes equals more choices which in turn equals less desperation. And and and the affordability index jumped from 29 last week to 84 today, which means more people can afford a house today than could last week.
But look, 6 days on market? Inventory only at 4.9 months? Prices are still high and holding?
Right now, buyers can sniff leverage and sellers are still in control as long as you are realistic and fast.
By the way, I’m kinda like a real estate hound dog, if you wanna talk sniffers.
